Visitor Hours & Guidelines

Visiting Hours:

Morning: 10:00AM to 11:00PM
Evening:  5:00PM to 7:00PM
For ICU:   5:00PM to 6:00PM

General Rules Regarding Visitors:

  • Visiting hours and rules have been developed to ensure that the care of patients is not disrupted. Visitors must abide by the rules.
  • Visitors must park their vehicles in visitors parking areas only.
  • Visitors must leave the hospital during a disaster or fire alarm
  • Visitors are required to conduct themselves appropriately
  • Visitors should refrain from sitting or lying on floors of patient rooms
  • Visitors are not permitted in non – patient areas such as utility rooms, nurse’s station, and kitchen. Visitors may use the cafeteria and waiting lounges.
  • No food or beverage may be brought into patient room.
  • To protect patients from infections and allergies, visitors are not permitted to bring flowers / fruits in to the IPD.
  • Visitors are not permitted to administer any medical treatment(s) to the patient.
  • Visitors are not to consume alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs, litter or loiter in the hallways while at hospital.
  • Children should be supervised by an adult at all times. However, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in to the patient areas.
  • For reasons of infection control, we can accommodate only one attendant with the patient at a time. Except during the visiting hours.
  • Please switch off your phones, pagers, beepers and other wireless equipments in the Intensive care zones in the hospital, such as the CCU/ MICU /SICU /NICU / ICCU as these interfere with the sophisticated patient monitoring systems. How ever, they may be switched on in the waiting areas.
  • Please avoid bringing costly items to the hospital. There might be chance of losing / misplacing them.
  • Please do not make use of candles, dhoop, agarbattis, lighters, matchboxes etc. as they are potential hazard in a hospital and can also trigger our sensitive smoke detecting system.
  • Nursing staff & security may restrict the number of visitors if the condition of the patient in the room requires it.
