A 64 yr old man presented with mild vertigo of one-week duration. MRI showed a cerebellar infarct and a small PCa infarct. While on IMWX and dual antiplatelets he has a stroke while waiting for an angiogram in the cath lab. Had slurring of speech and paresis of the right leg was taken into the cath lab straight away total occlusion of the basilar artery was seen. He was stented within 2 hours of the onset. Today walks without support no deficit.
